Responders helping responders

Eagles Response, Inc provides affordable counseling, spiritual assistance and courses for First Responders in all fields; military, veterans, healthcare, EMS, firefighters, telecommunicators and law enforcement as well as their families.
“Eagles Response” came about through a dream from God three years ago. This vision was to have an inter-faith and spiritual organization that would integrate the best aspects of Chaplaincy with current Mental Health strategies and therapies to address First Responder issues that often fall through the cracks. Today’s First Responders work in an increasingly tortuous society and often need help from fellow peers and chaplains to navigate today’s fallen world. Since Eagles Response, Inc. was launched in late 2023, we have trained almost 200 persons in critical incident stress management from all First Responder disciplines.
We are the sole provider of CISM training services for the U.S. Coast Southeastern District which includes the states of South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Additionally, we have conducted classes in Maine and North Carolina as well which includes students from the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team and Samaritan’s Purse. Chaplain Forest Willis is a Senior Facilitator for the Broward County, Florida Fire Chiefs Association CISM Response Team.
Our mental health activities include numerous people who have come for counseling via ZOOM or in person with many of these having significant substance abuse and traumatic stress issues. We also work with the alumni association of a major inpatient facility specializing in mental health and substance issues of First Responders from around the country providing additional counseling and peer support once the responder graduates the program. We have also worked with veteran organizations such as the American Legion providing a variety of chaplaincy services including suicide education, chaplaincy, and funeral/celebration of life functions. Eagles Response is also the designated chaplain for the Blue Knights Lae Enforcement Motorcycle Club.
A new outreach is “The Kitchen Table” a ZOOM based Group Peer Support for First Responders with cancer or who have family members with cancer. The meetings are moderated by former First Responders who are also cancer survivors.

Forest really helped me out. The Good Lord put it in his heart, mind, and speech to address the "spirit" of the problem, when secular counselors would not. I am grateful.
