Forest Willis

Forest Willis, Florida Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern, is the CEO and Founder of Eagles Response; a 501(c)3 non-profit. Eagles Response was established to tackle issues facing first responders, healthcare workers, and veterans.

A veteran of 38 years service, he has over 50 years experience in military and emergency services. He is a retired senior officer from the Coast Guard and was the first paid Fire Rescue Chief/Acting Director of Nassau County, Florida Public Safety. While there he oversaw fire, EMS, lifeguards, and 911 operations.

One of Florida’s first paramedics, he has held many positions throughout Northeast Florida, including the Director of Safety & Wellness for a large public utility.  Forest’s last position was as the Coast Guard Emergency Manager for the Southeast U.S. and the Caribbean. As an Endorsed Emergency Services Chaplain and Ordained Minister, he serves Davie and Southwest Ranches Fire Rescue Departments and the Broward Critical Incident Stress Team.

Forest has a Masters in Health Science from the University of North Florida and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity International University. Chaplain Willis is an instructor in crisis management, financial and life skills areas. He has worked as an intern with over 100 police, fire, EMS, correctional officers and veterans with substance abuse and various spiritual and mental health conditions.

Forest is also a two-time cancer survivor with a call to provide counseling and spiritual services to those with cancer.
